Tithed is a fantasy novel centering around a girl who stumbles into the fey realm. The task for the project was evoking the feeling of interest and unease that one would experience in her position. A special edition version of the book would include an illustrated cover and illustrated inside. The cover can be seen in the primary mock up.

Primary Covers
The primary covers for the novel would be photographic based. The two mockups below would be the options for the standard covers.
Cover Options
Several options were explored for what could work for the cover on the novel, including heavily featuring an individuals face to more obscure imagery. Ultimately the more abstract covers were favored.
Back Cover Options
For the back of the novel, it was decided to be kept fairly simple. Faded images to a plain black background were explored. The favored back cover is the one with the path, as it feels like as if you could step through the words and into the world.
